How to Use Social Networks in Lobbying and Advocacy Campaigns – training

Social Development Forum-SDF has conducted training course for four days about using social networks in lobbying and advocacy campaigns with the participation of 25 members of SDF staff, Gaza Online network team, and media and advocacy officers of partner organizations.
The training has carried out by 24 training- hour in Adam Hotel in Gaza City, it included the following popular social networks, techniques of content creation and make media messages, organizing media campaigns through new media networks, and many hours of practical application on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google Apps.
The training culminated in the release of Twitter campaign on advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities to access and work entitled #Remove the barrier which considered as local active campaign and it witnessed unprecedented engagement among tweeter users and activists.
The training is one of the capacity building activities within the Project Improve Local Response for the right to work and the right of access for people with disabilities in Gaza Strip funded by Human Rights and IHL Secretariat, taking place in Gaza Strip from December 2015 to December 2016.
