Who are we?
Social Developmental Forum is a Non-governmental Organization (NGO) operating in Palestine, established in 2006 as an initiative of a group of young activities. SDF seeks to build a professional model that can better invest in the available resources and capacities to offer community services, based on human rights, the law and civil values. SDF four main programs: Civil and Political Empowerment Program, Economic Empowerment Program, Digital Transformation and the Emergency Response Program for Humanitarian Needs.
The Social Development Forum (SDF) offers you the opportunity to become part of our team through the position: Digital Advocacy Project Coordinator
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate project activities and ensure their implementation according to timelines and budgets.
- Monitor daily implementation, develop detailed work plans, and monitor progress with the team and partners.
- Prepare periodic reports (technical and financial) and submit them to relevant stakeholders on time.
- Supervise training activities and workshops, ensuring the quality of output.
- Coordinate with civil society organizations, media professionals, and international networks to strengthen partnerships.
- Organize meetings, write minutes, and ensure effective follow-up on recommendations.
- Document project activities (photos, videos, success stories) and provide them with to the media unit.
- Contribute to project evaluation and impact measurement to ensure the achievement of strategic objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in management, social sciences, media, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of practical experience coordinating or managing civil society projects. coordinator.
- Strong understanding of the Palestinian context and the challenges facing civil society work.
- Familiarity with advocacy and lobbying concepts and tools, especially in the digital space.
- Knowledge of digital challenges related to safety and protection in community work.
- High skills in planning, preparing and organizing reports (technical and financial).
- Excellent networking skills with local organizations and community representatives with the ability to communicate with diverse community groups.
- Ability to communicate effectively, work under pressure, and build positive relationships with partners.
- Good skills in reporting and demonstration of experience in practicing conceptual tools (e.g. logical framework).
- Excellent spoken, written and speaking English and Arabic.
- Computer skills (MS Office, virtual apps, Social Media Networks, and e-mail).
