Trainer’s Guide on Core Skills for Psychosocial Support for Frontline Workers

The Psychosocial Support Skills Guide for Frontline Service Providers was developed by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) – Palestine, with contributions from Dr. Hania Obeid.

This guide equips frontline workers with essential tools such as active listening, empathy, survivor-centered interaction, and managing stress and emotional responses. It enhances psychosocial support capacities across Palestine and serves as an official UNFPA reference for developing mental health and psychosocial support services in humanitarian and health contexts.
