The school also strengthened planing skills for practical practices and community initiatives that strengthen young people efforts in the fight against corruption and arming them with accountability tools and the development of skills to turn ideas into practical initiatives.

In the same context, the participants presented a set of ideas inspired from their reality and the reality of the Gaza Strip. The ideas varied between university activities and services, the quality of food in public schools, university curriculum and channels of access.

“The school has taught me the right ways in practicing community accountability and how to raise youth issues to decision-makers, in addition to a great deal of skill in designing initiatives,” said Reem Abu Zayed, a participant in the School.

The Integrity School is being implemented for the third consecutive year as part of a partnership program with the Coalition for Integrity and Accountability (AMAN) as part of a series of interventions that contribute to enhancing the role of youth in combating corruption and improving the reality of basic services in the Gaza Strip.
